Plaže v Piranu
1. Bernardin Vile Park beach
The beach in Bernardin is located in the
proximity of Hotel Vile Park, which is connected to Hotel Histrion by a
shopping street with restaurants and bars. On the beach of Hotel Vile Park you
can find a bar, a playground for children, a beach volley court, the Water
sports center Keka and Wibit, an inflatable playground on the sea. The beach is
well-tended, it has an outdoor swimming pool and you can also rent deckchairs
and sun umbrellas. You can access the beach free of charge, whereas the outdoor
swimming pool is upon payment. However, guests of Hotel Histrion, Hotel Vile
Park and Grand Hotel Bernardin have free access to the outdoor swimming pool as
well. The beach displays the blue flag, which is awarded by the Foundation for Environmental
Education. Bathing establishments and marinas which are given the blue flag
have to comply with many criteria, which are divided in the following
categories: quality of the bathing water, safety and services, environmental
education and information and an environmentally friendly management.
2. The beach next to Grand Hotel Bernardin
The well-tended beach in front of Grand Hotel
Bernardin is also a recipient of the blue flag. You can get refreshed in Tropic
bar and there’s also the possibility to rent deckchairs and sun umbrellas.
During the summer, part of the beach is enriched with the programme Perfect
Summer Club, which offers the following special services: morning programme
“Good morning on the beach”, a privée deckchair and sun umbrella with a beach
towel and refreshing towels, a morning aperitif and fruit, an afternoon
aperitif and other sweet surprises plus a butler service.
3. The beach from Fornače to the entrance in Piran
beginning of Fornače you can find a well-tended beach with pebbles with
disabled-friendly accesses to the sea. Then a concrete beach stretches towards
Piran where you’ll find another pebble beach in the proximity of the town’s
entrance, suitable especially for families. The beach is terraced and there’s a
green area with pine trees, so you can sunbathe or enjoy the cool shade during
the hot summer days.
4. The public beach in Piran
popular and visited beach in Piran and at the same time the smallest one is
located next to Giuseppe Tartini theatre and Hotel Piran. The beach is made of
concrete, has access to the sea and piers. Close by you can find excellent
restaurants where you can enjoy your lunch.
5. Punta beach
Punta is a
very popular well-tended beach, part concrete and part rock. There are accesses to the sea, a free shower
on the beach, a pier and various bars and restaurants close by.
6. The natural beach under the church of St. George towards Fiesa
Natural beaches offer more privacy and
tranquillity, but entering the sea can be a bit of an endeavour. During low
tide, you can access this beach on foot from Punta beach, otherwise you can
reach it from Fiesa. The beach has pebbles and rocks. On one side you have the
sea, whereas on the other the mighty cliff that occasionally offers some shade.
7. The natural beach in Pacug (between Fiesa and Strunjan)
The loveliest beach in Piran is definitely
Pacug. Access is a bit limited, as you need to manoeuvre among and over some
larger rocks, but as you peek around the cliff, you’ll see there’s enough room
for some leisurely relaxing on the beach. Unfortunately, there are no bars or
restaurants nearby. Going in the sea can be a bit tricky in some places due to
the rocks on the sea floor, but there are some pebbly sections too. Pacug is
also known for its high cliffs.
