Hoteli Bernardin d.d. manages five beaches on the Slovenian coast and is thus well-aware that in ensuring well-tended and safe beaches we must not forget the responsibility and importance of a caring attitude towards our environment. Every year we participate in the internationally renowned programme “Blue flag”.

 
Every year during the Internautica fair the Doves Fee association confers blue flags to Slovenian natural beaches and marinas. Five flags were awarded to beaches and a marina that are owned and managed by Hoteli Bernardin.
 
The blue flag is a renowned ecological symbol and an acknowledgment for long-term management and environmental awareness. It stands for a clean, safe and well-tended beach. Hoteli Bernardin have five beaches and a marina, all of which were awarded the blue flag: Bernardin beach, Grand hotel Bernardin beach, Salinera beach in Strunjan, San Simon beach in Izola and the Bernardin marina.
